I have lived in Charleston for my entire life and I grew up with sand and pluff mud in between my toes. As a young child I started shrimping in the creeks with my dad and decided then that I wanted to spend my life on the water!

My time was well spent sailing around the Charleston harbor and playing on Crab Bank and Morris Island. I started fishing offshore in my mid to late teens and mated on some very nice sport fishing boats doing charters and tournament fishing in the Governor's Cup Billfish tournaments.

In my early 20s I decided to get my captain's license and make a career for myself. I've been running charters and marinas for close to 30 years and thoroughly enjoy it. I'd say my office has a pretty good view!
